Mike Oswald presented to the Board his preliminary plan for Stone Road Equine Sanctuary.  He is not sure where this is going, but just wanted to get in front of the Board well in advance of any zoning requests.  This would be a non-profit, tax shelter.  He is trying to give back to the environment and community, while having a positive impact in the area.  At this time he has no idea for a timeline.  The Board provided some feedback on the process and what Mr. Oswald can do to help himself get started.

The Lakeshore Humane Society sent out a new Contract from now through December 2020.  Motion was made by Supervisor Propson in agreement with the contract provided, second by Supervisor Grapentine.

Road Report – Chairman Schuh spoke to the Chairman from the Town of Gibson in regard to the section of road shared between the 2 Towns.  They will get proposals for repair and chip sealing and will meet with us to make a decision going forward.  They’d also like to put weight limit signs up permanently. We do not have an issue with this.

Snowplowing has been going well.  We haven’t received any complaints.  They did get a truck stuck on the dead end of Meier Rd today.

Bruce Robley is working on getting the Shady Lane survey completed and recorded.  We will have an informational public meeting with the owners of the land that is affected.

Any thoughts on the tree’s on old Q.  Should we leave them for now since we thinned it out?  In 2 years, when it’s grown again, we can make a more permanent solution.

Repairs were made on door lock and buildings, at the Transfer Station.  We will need to do more work in Spring.  There was garbage left on the top of the compactor again this past weekend.  We were able to get a name out of the garbage.  Supervisor Grapentine will follow up with the individual.

We will set up an interview with Travis Groelle for the open Constables position.

We had some wind damage to the outside electrical lines coming into the Town Hall, which in turn burned up the transformers in both our furnaces.  Repairs have been made and have been turned into our insurance.

Claims 1 – 57 were allowed ordered paid.
